We sent photos of each other back and forth, we talked everyday. Then we finally decided to meet. I flew to Washington DC with my sister, we got two seperate rooms that were adjoining.
The hotel front desk manager called to my room and said you have a guest and stated his name. I said send him up. I really should of looked through the peep hole before I opened the door.
When I opened the door I was shocked with horror. This person did not look like the same person in the photos. I invited him in, he was very cordial and showed me picture of his home and children. He came to meet me with a pair of shorts, tennis shoes and a football shirt with a baseball cap turned backwards, I was horrified. Not to mention he had coke bottled glasses. I sat on the couch staring at the television all the while saying to myself I thought, THIS MAN IS SO UGLY. I think I actually was saying it out loud. So it started to get late and he said he was sleepy, so I said you can lay on the bed in the bedroom (mind you I never unpacked my luggage). As soon as I heard him snoring I called my sister and told her to tell the front desk to get the airport shuttle right away we have to make an emergency flight. I was on the 7th floor, we ran down 7 flights of stairs and got out of dodge. When we got the the airport we got on standby flights and headed home and laughed all the way home on our two hour flight.
Never again would I date a man online, because you never know what you are getting...ROFL |
