He wanted to meet after the first week, but I put him off until we'd been writing and talking for a month. I don't know what I was thinking, because by that point he was starting to seem a little off. There were just little annoying things, like he called his computer the "pooter". And he was really into Star Trek. He also seemed to not have actually read my ad since he thought I was several years younger than I was.
He was from out of town and for some reason I had him meet me at my house. He got there early and of course he was several inches shorter than his ad said he was, but he accused me of actually being taller than I said. I could look down at the top of his head! I invited him in since he was early.
He got a glance of my bed which is mission style and I guess, to a sick mind, looked like some pieces were missing - he made the comment that I must be wild in bed if I had torn the bed up like that. It was altogether the worst night of my life. He was just a disgusting little man.
The kicker was when he called the next day and told me he thought he was falling for me and he had told his mom "all about me". I don't know what there was to tell since there was very little conversation during or after dinner. And yet I still have hope that I might meet someone decent online! |
